Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G: Supercar-Inspired Smartphone with Astonishing Design and Exclusive Features
The company Tecno decided that an ordinary smartphone was not enough and released a special version Pova 8 Pro 5G, developed in collaboration with the Tonino Lamborghini brand. The result is aggressive, red-black, and with a premium claim. This is not the first attempt by the manufacturer to flirt with the luxury segment, but this time the focus was on visual effects and body materials.
Supercar aesthetics in plastic and glass
The smartphone's design is maintained in the classic black and red color scheme. The back panel features a central Pulse Line, and the Signature Shield design around it is inspired by the signature Lamborghini shield. Designers were inspired not only by the logo but also by the body lines, ventilation grilles, honeycombs, and even elements of the actual car's exhaust system.
To create the back cover, Tecno used a multi-layer construction. One layer was treated to enhance brightness and reflections, and another concealed special internal mirrored structures. Thanks to this, hidden red elements appear only when you change the viewing angle. It took the company several months to develop this coating technology.
Digital tuning and configuration
The brand's style extended beyond just appearance. For almost four months, the Tecno team worked on the software part: wallpapers, icons, and ringtones. All of this is done in a black and red palette with geometric shapes. In the Alive Matrix Display interface, a stylized letter “L” appears with each turn-on or unlock.
The package also tries to justify the status of the special edition. Instead of standard accessories, the buyer receives:
- braided cable;
- special charger;
- protective case made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and polycarbonate (PC), imitating the texture of carbon and Kevlar.
While some brands work on external shine, others strive to impress with endurance. For example, Honor X9e Pro packs an 11,000mAh battery — but good luck buying one with a giant battery, which will surely be appreciated by those who value autonomy over designer sophistication.
